Hi, 1st I’m sorry if I made a stupid question but I’m really new (0 experience) in this VoIP matter…
My question is : is it possible to use FreePBX for intranet call only? (example I currently have 1 local network with IP range 192.168.100.10 - 200 and the call can be made only within those IPs)
If possible, what items that I should prepare for this set up? (I already have PC set for installation & Latest Stable FreePBX ISO)
The short answer is “don’t set up an ITSP and don’t connect your system to it.”
If you are on a purely private network, you’ll need all of the “standard” network services (DNS, NTP, etc.) so that things don’t time out and go wonky, but yeah - one you install the extensions, you’ll be done.
The network is actually connected to the internet but for the Telephone System I only want to use it within local network (in the same subnet)… For the DNS, NTP and other services are available though…
