Armhf and arm32 support for FreePBX 17 Install Script

Hello,

Just a small suggestion- I think it would be rather simple to add armhf and arm32 support for the FreePBX 17 Install Script- and it would also probably make Sangoma more money, because many people would be able to easily run FreePBX on the Raspberry Pi.

Which Rasperry Pi?

Much as I love Pi’s if used in their comfort zone, they just aren’t a good choice to ‘serve’ anything, particularly realtime media transport, there are any number of equally cheap mini pc’s that aren’t attached to the desire to educate school kids ( which I agree with 100%)

Most likely Pi models 3-5 or 4-5.

I have tried it, on Pi 4 (with 4gb of ram) and no, It doesn’t work, because the script checks architecture.

I have tried FPBX 15 with RasPBX and it worked fine, so 17 would most likely work if it were to be supported.

Did you try FreePBX for the Raspberry Pi - Broadband Bulletin Forum ?
Many users have reported success with 17 on Pi 4.
Post in that forum if you are still having trouble.

It works, but as I said, the install script is user-friendly, and many would find it beneficial.

I also want install on Arm. But can’t understand if it will be fully functional system?
