I made an image of the freepbx box before hand so i didnt mess around with it long before I imaged it back to my working setup. Anyone know what went wrong? My current asterisk v is and running freepbx beta 2.8. I read on here about someone else having the same problem with no fix. This is no emergency as I am back up and running since I backed up before hand.

I did not do a yum but rather used wget to download and went throught the ./configure, make and make install process. It came up for me with no issues.

This is really an Asterisk issue and not a FreePBX issue, in my opinion. You might check in over at Asterisk.org to see what they have to say.

Thanks ken, any documentation you can point me to on what commands i need to run, I have used wget a few times. Thanks

After researching Im 95% sure its my g729 codec causing this, i need to install the 1.6.2.x version since I am upgrading from 1.6.0.x to 1.6.2.x
