We are using FreePBX v16 with the latest EPM 16.0.86.30.
Our issue involves Yealink T54W phones (possibly other models too, but we only have T54Ws to test). In the provisioning files, the parameter account.1.subscribe_mwi is set using the FreePBX placeholder value: __line1Mwi__. However, this results in the generated provisioning files containing the line:
account.1.subscribe_mwi = 0
This setting effectively disables the new voicemail notification feature on the Yealink phones.
Current Workaround:
I understand that we could manually edit the basefile template to set this parameter to 1, but I’d prefer to understand how the variable __line1Mwi__ is supposed to work and how I can ensure it is set correctly by FreePBX during the provisioning process.
