Xact Dialer not really working in the UK

Hello

I’m testing out the Xact Dialer before I purchase it; I’ve been running into some issues with it playing the incorrect messages and having very long periods of silence before playing messages. I’m not sure exactly how Xact Dialer detects whether it’s gone to answer machine or if a person answers it, I was wondering if it would be affected by different dial tones? I’m guessing this module is mainly used in USA and might not work properly in the UK, can anyone shed any light please?

Not at all. This module uses asterisk Answer Machine Detection (AMD). You can tweak and modify the amd.conf file as per asterisk documentation.
