Will an SBC help with BLF hints on remote phones?

I have a small PBX running at one location and the customer has added about 7 remote VVX411 Polycom sets with BLF appearances of all phones plus Park buttons. FreePBX 14/Asterisk 16

All has been working fine for over a year but this last month the remote BLF keys seem to be acting up - sometimes lighting correctly and sometimes not. There is no VPN between the two offices so the phones register over the wild wild web - which is probably the problem.

Nothing has been changed network wise at both locations and I can’t figure out the issue

Would an SBC help with the BLF hints? I was considering this for them for security purposes anyway

sngrep should show the NOTIFICATIONS being sent and responded to (or not)
