Please explain in more detail.
I would expect a mobile network air interface gateway to be treated as a provider, which is a very standard thing to do with all versions. How does your concept of a “peer to peer trunk” differ from this.
This is not an intra-company trunk, but FreePBX handles those, too.
Also note that GSM refers to the 2G air interface, which is being closed down, or at least severely limited in many countries. It looks like there is no support for 3G, 4G, or 5G. It looks like they have a less well known model that does 3G, but 3G is being closed down even faster than 2G.
