Where do I find ring groups settings? Where are they saved?

Not using the gui. It seems like whenever I use the gui, it gets messed up. We had it all working and literally just changed the name of one of them and it killed it.

  1. I’d like to find where the ring groups and extension settings are stored so I don’t HAVE to use the GUI, and
  2. I’d like to check them on there to make sure it’s not just the GUI reporting things wrong. Also look for any duplicate entries or something that could be causing our problem.

You have to use the GUY, it doesn’t just write out some flat file. It’s all DB driven and interdependent.

You have some independent issue anyway, FreePBX with over 1/2 million systems in use does not have any flaws in the basic technology that would create issues like you are describing.

I would focus on finding the problem instead of troubleshooting the application.
