What means time in ms in Reports - Asterisk Info - Peers - Status?

for example: OK (155 ms)

real ping rtt time is 2 ms.

I believe that’s the time between when the server sends its status request to the phone and the time that it receives a response…could be wrong.

Nope - that is right - just in case anyone stumbles across this:

<150ms - Toll Quality - MOS (Mean Opinion Score) is good and people don’t notice delay
150-250ms - Some people will notice the delay. MOS is lower
Greater Than 300ms - Most people notice the delay and conversations start to suffer - MOS plummets

And the higher the delay the worse it gets until it gets unusable.

If your true ping time is 2ms and the response time is 155ms, something is probably wrong with that phone - what model of phone are you using?

Panasonic KX - UT113.

Don’t know anything about that phone, but as with all SIP phones, before you start troubleshooting, do you have the current firmware applied to the phone?
