What is lost by disabling UCP node daemon?

I have a few systems set up a little more “lean” and disabled the UCP node daemon. From my testing of the functions we use, including the webrtc phone, call history, and extension controls, I do not see anything that doesn’t work.

I want to make sure I’m not missing something. The UCP node daemon is supposed to provide realtime updates to UCP. It doesn’t seem like I am missing anything in real time. So the question is what specifically is lost by disabling UCP node daemon?

Its not used by much. Conf Pro uses it and I think it’s probably used by the SMS module as well. It is used for updating widgets in real time without refreshing the page
