Warm Spare setup

Good day

Currently running the following as primary:
PBX Version:
16.0.40.11
PBX Distro:
12.7.8-2302-1.sng7
Asterisk Version:
18.17.1

New install:
PBX Version
17.0.19.21

PBX Distro:
12.7.8-2408-1.sng12

Asterisk Version:
18.25.0

Should I be able to use the new version in a warm spare. Not planning implementin HA.

Thoughts?

Both servers(primary & warmspare) should be running on same software version. If you are using PBX Version:16.0.40.11 as primary then please use same version for warmspare too.
