Want to receive FAx on a traditional FAX machine

Hi all!,

I have a freepbx machine with 2 ISDN. I want to connecta FAX machine to the freepnx with an ATA.

What I want to know y how to send all the trafic of the FAX to the ATA, and how to configure it.

Any help? Thanx.

Just guessing from what short to the point type of statement you made …

You would simply make a new inbound route with the DID of the FAX.
Setup the ATA as a generic extension …

Ok, but kind of codec, configuration, and staff do I need for the ata?
