Ok new problem 
I was wondering if there is a way to record the silence within a voicemail call.
I ask because I have a user on a new system saying his voicemails are getting cutoff in mid speech. Not all but a few of them.
Now I have maxsilence set to 15 but if those 15 seconds is at the very end of the call it still cuts that whole 15 block of silence out. Are there settings elsewhere within Asterisk that effect this issue other than the voicemail.conf file?
It is also affecting the system recordings for when I make then for the IVR. Sometimes it’s nice to have a pause in a recording but Asterisk is stripping it all out.
