Voicemail with ring group or follow me

Hello,

I have a question about Voicemail and ring group. I have an extension (10) in ring group. For example if the extension 10 don’t answer after 10 second, the call is forwarded to other extension. If I put my extension 10 on voicemail, I have a problem: The voicemail is not playing and the second extension ring. When I look on astersik LOG, it say me that the voicemail is blocked. I have the same problem with follow me. Why the voicemail don’t works in ring group or follow me?

In my log:

How can I configure via FreePBX so to play the voicemail.

I have the same problem when I works with follow me.

(Asterisk 1.4.19 and FreePBX 2.4.0)

Before I used asterisk 1.2 with amp, and I have NOT this problem…

Same problem here. Voicemail does not work after a ring group or follow me call.

It seems that Follow Me and Ring groups do have a lot of problems with Asterisk 1.4.19 and later.

There are loops problems as well (calling the main follow-me extension from a follow-me-ed phone), as well as a problem with directed call pickup who does not work with ring groups and follow-me.

All those problems seems difficult to solve, as they are known since a long time but nobody has a real solution yet.

I would advice to stay at Asterisk 1.2 for production systems, waiting for FreePBX corrections.
