After I updated last weekend the freepbx, through module admin, the voice mail issues came out. Every time I dial *97 to check the voice mail, it keeps on asking to change the password, there is actually a voice prompt about “set up process” that keeps on doing it every time the *97 is dial. Anyone is experiencing the same issue? Thank you.
Your VM password matches the extension number. Change the password or adjust the ‘forcegreetings’ and/or ‘forcename’ variables in Settings, Voicemail Admin, Settings
Sorry, but I found out that this is a security purpose. Password has to be changed and not the same as the extension number.
