Voicemail Feature Codes not in Misc Destinations

I am running 2.3.0.2 as a fresh install. We can leave voicemail on extensions and the voicemail module installed fine but there are no voicemail feature codes in Misc Destinations so we can’t setup external voicemail access. Anything I can try before reinstalling? Thanks in advance.

Can you dail *98 / *97 to check VM ???
You can just enter that in to create a MD

I just update a beta box to FreePBX 2.3.0.2 and the VM choice is there for me.

Neither *97 or *98 work. How can you add an MD when the featurecode shortcut is not in the drop down list? Is there a file that I can manually edit?
