Virtual extensions

I’m using Asterisk v. 11.8.1 and FreePBX 2.11.0.37 running on SHMZ release 6.5 (FreePBX ISO).

Am interested in setting up a few virtual extensions, where any incoming call to them will automatically be routed to an external number. Tried going through the Follow Me page on each extension but am having hard time setting this up so it actually works. Any ideas?

I have done this many times. You basically setup the extension and the follow me. Works like a charm.

What happens when you call? Call traces would be nice as well.
