[V] in call log on Sangoma Talk app

Sangoma Talk on FreePBX 16. I had a user say there is a [V] before the caller ID info in the call log on the app. I would imagine it was because they left a voicemail, but there is not voicemail on their account and they said they didn’t receive any voicemail. Is the [V] indicating that caller left a voicemail?

Typically, in the USA, it means that the call passed over a non-SIP network at some stage, but the provider is asserting that they have validated the caller ID as genuine.

In other words this is STIR/SHAKEN attestation that’s added to the Caller ID by your upstream provider.
