Using One Outlook Calendar To Set On-Call Inbound Route

I am looking into using our On-Call calendar in outlook as a way to change the On-Call flow for weekends.

We have 7 people that rotate on-call every weekend. So this weekend, one person is on call and then the next weekend, the next person is on cal, so on and so forth. Is there a way to use that calendar to change the on-call for each person, using the calendar event? Currently I have separate rings groups for each person and change it manually at the beginning of every work week.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I think you will need one calendar per person, and one time condition per calendar, and you need to create a cascaded inbound route where you check every time condition in order to make that work. It would be great if the calendar module could read the event name or description and use it as a destination, so you could use only one calendar to direct the call to different destinations, but that is not possible at the moment.

Ahh okay, sorry for the delayed response.

I guess if I start now, it wont be too bad. Would be good for it to be able read event names. Or even use things like a ring group or an extension as the event itself and just assign a timeline to it so it would not even need to read the name of the event.
