User facing Calendar

Hi guys,

So i know my scenario is quite popular but i cannot seem find the answer to one specific question which is : Can you make the calendar in FreePBX user facing so they themselves can fill it in? And if so, how?

Context : we received the question for occasional home-office workers to have their phone forward to their personal device.
For this i wanted to make use of a FreePBX calendar combined with the follow-me feature in UCP. I intended to go for a local calendar for this scenario.

Could anyone help me out please?

Hi
This can be done by using a gmail or Outlook Calendar instead of Feepbx internal calendar.
You just have ti define the name of the event to be searched (eg: “holidays” or “Off”) by Freepbs in the external calendar.
And then as soon as users put the selected keyword as event in their external calendar, the routing is done at the desired period.
