[Urgent help required] Attended Transfer Time Out (atxfernoanswertimeout)

PBX Version: 15.0.37.9
PBX Distro: 12.7.8-2306-1.sng7
Asterisk Version: 13.38.3

I’ve added these 3 lines to features_general_custom.conf

[general]
atxfernoanswer = yes
atxfernoanswertimeout = 55

however the atxfernoanswertimeout = 55 isnt coming into effect.

I had previously, changed the default attended transfer code to *98 using the FreePBX GUI.

EDIT - i just reverted it the back to the default feature code but haven’t tested it - not sure if this could be a reason for the atxfernoanswertimeout not working…

I’m using MicroSIP (have updated the feature code within MicroSIP settings) and while the transfer happens i see “from-internal-xfer” in the CEL for those specific calls.

What am I doing wrong? How to get the attended transfer calls to ring for longer than 15 seconds when attempting the transfer?

This is kind of becoming urgent - any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Does it help to do a native transfer in MicroSIP instead of using a feature code?

Hi Stewart – Thakn you very much for this. This defeintely helps!! :grinning_face: (atleast partially)

Unfortunately i’ve lost the ability to use the feature code completely while trying to fix this issue. I tried reverting back to *2 and now neither *2 works neither does *98 work.

I have multiple systems running, like hard Cisco phones (SPA 502/504), some poeple use Zoiper and some use MicroSIP. The urgent matter was related to people using MicroSIP so that seems to have been resolved.

I’d still like some help getting the actual attended transfer using feature codes working.
