Updating distro 5.211.65-20 to v12 - what about sysadmin/distro version?

I used the update to v12 option to upgrade my system.

Started with distro 5.211.65-20

I ran the upgrade and followed the steps - mostly module upgrade over and over again.

I’m left with a mix of modules. Some 12.x and some 2.x. Based on my install from scratch, this is expected. I did find my requested enhancements to the commercial EPM - thanks!

My question is related to the system admin module. On my from scratch v12 distro install, it is showing distro version 6.12.65-22.

The upgraded distro is still showing 5.211.65-20 (wanting up upgrade to -21)

I’m guessing this will be a problem as future upgrades are released? But not sure. Is there something I need to do to move the sysadmin module to the new track?

Any advice on this? Should I have done something different to upgrade the disto, instead of just upgrading freepbx using the menu option?

I just found the “sh” script on the wiki - http://wiki.freepbx.org/display/FD/FreePBX-Distro-5.211.65

Is it safe to run that upgrade script now that I have already updated freepbx standalone?
