Another simple one!
Recently Asterisk 13.5.0 was released, and I am on 13.4.0. The server hasn’t gone into major production, so I thought I would perform the Asterisk update prior to production.
I did a yum update asterisk13* - saw the 13.5.0 packages that it was going to download, let it download and install them as normal.
Then I did an amportal a reload and an asterisk -rx “core reload”. In FPBX Asterisk Info page it still shows as 13.4.0, but with the asterisk console the MOTD copyright notice says;
Asterisk 13.5.0, Copyright © 1999 - 2014, Digium, Inc. and others.
but underneath that it still says;
Connected to Asterisk 13.4.0 currently running on localhost (pid = 2017)
Have I missed a step here? Do I need to completely restart the Asterisk process (this is something I’m not sure about, surely that isn’t as easy as service asterisk restart?)?
Thanks in advance,
