This is my first post on this forum, I have recently updated the fail2ban module on our PBX and I am experiencing very high utilization of resources when enabling the new features, the version I am running is as follows:
PBX Version:
14.0.16.2
PBX Distro:
12.7.8-2011-5.sng7
Asterisk Version:
13.38.0
When fail2ban runs for an extended period of time it will eventually fully utilize all of the resources available on the server,
In the /var/log/fail2ban.log I see it is constantly cycling through a list of the same IP Addresses over and over again, I have also looked in the /var/log/asterisk/fail2ban log but the behaviour has not changed much there, The major change I notice is in the /var/log/fail2ban.log,
I do have a custom whitelist from the previous version of fail2ban, could this be causing the issue as well or am I doing something wrong?
