Unstable behavior after fresh install

Hello everyone!
I have been away from the FreePBX environment for a while as I didn’t have a need anymore for a system until recently. Before, I was using the ISO that was around but I know thats not in support anymore. I installed FreePBX with the git hub script on a fresh install of Debian 12 and everything looked okay until I tried to go to the IP to access the panel. It takes an extremely long time to load and after it does its all weird looking. I am seeing that the VM is getting no where near maxing out on resources so im assuming its some sort of DB error going on? Just for reference this is running on a VM with 125GB of disk space and 8GB of RAM. Any ideas? Thank you!

Apache2 and FreePBX services seem to be running.

Howdy! Welcome back to the forums.

How quick is SSH coming up ?

Static or dynamic IP ?

Thank you!
Its almost immediate for the handshake to take place. Its a static IP assigned by my DHCP server on a VOIP VLAN. I have noticed that the GUI does timeout most of the time by the way. When its not freezing its going back to this page even after inputting all the data its requesting.

So an update. It finally accepted my login info and now it goes to the page saying if I want to activate and times out every time I click yes or skip.

After much trial and error I found the issue to the VPN connection to the server.

Would you mind sharing what the resolution involved ?

Were you using a separate VPN (type ?) to connect to your FreePBX ?

Dang it! I really thought it was the VPN as it was working fine but now Im seeing the same instabilities. It will work fine for like 90 seconds or so then time out and come back after a few minutes. I dont remember having issues like this when I first started haha. Im thinking it would probably be a good time to supply logs huh? What’s the best method in your option for this new version. I am now checking the Firewall on the FreePBX server. I use a OpenVPN connection to remote to the servers back at my home. Thank you! @penguinpbx

Firewall made no difference.

Closing this out. Since I have been back im not really liking what im seeing Sangoma is doing to FreePBX. Switching to vitalpbx. Take care everyone.
