Just wondering if there is any way to implement “UCD” in FreePBX as ring strategy. We have 8 extensions and I’d like to implement a system so that each extension answers roughly the same amount of calls. It’s called uniform call distribution or automatic call distribution (ACD) and it’s not an option in ring groups.
What you are describing defeats the purpose of a ring group. The ring group by definition rings all extensions in the group. Check the “ring strategy” options under queue setup.
