I’m unable to utilize wireshark despite it appearing to be installed on the Centos system(Launched in AWS Cloud infrastructure, AWS FreePBX is a pairing of CentOS 7.8, FreePBX 16, and Asterisk 16) . When I input the “wireshark” command, it returns “command not found.” Attempting to install wireshark indicates that it’s already installed. However, I’m unable to locate the Wireshark executable file.
did you tried to use another tool sngrep
? very useful tool
What about when you run this command?
yum search wireshark
If you have installed Wireshark you can check with that command
tshark -v
I normally use tcpdump which is the default packet capture program.
