Unable to transfer--nothing happens--after System updates

FreePBX 16.0.40.8
Asterisk 18.20.2

After running updates from Module Admin>System Updates, users are no longer able to transfer calls. If they transfer calls from either the phone itself or their fop2 console (fully up to date, no changes made prior or after issues started); when the transfer is attempted, nothing happens, there is no output in the asterisk console. Has anyone else run into this issue and resolved?
