I’ve been trying the previous threads and nothing works for me… I believe this error came after a sudo update of the OS, I’m using Linux 20.04.
None of the suggested solutions are working for me. Not suggested from inside the console, not suggested from the Internet.

Permission errors can usually be resolved by running
fwconsole chown
