Unable to install virtual machine with SNGDEB12 ISO

Using the Sangoma ISO installer: SNGDEB-PBX17-amd64-12-10-0-2504-1.iso - that is the most recent I could find. Tried with Win 11 using VirtualBox and HyperV. Always get the same error

Some investigating indicates: The Debian-based FreePBX (SNGDEB12) installer uses an unpatched Debian “Guided” partitioning recipe that always allocates a ~256 MB /boot partition, regardless of the total disk size.
When the kernel image and initrd are generated, they don’t fit — hence “no space left on device.” You can’t fix that by enlarging the virtual disk; you have to manually tell the installer to create a larger /boot.

Do others find a similar issue? Is there a newer ISO?

I am trying to install a SNGDEB ISO install to understand the upgrade hold rules present and ensure I mirror those our AWS installed Debian instances that used the FreePBX script for installation over top of AWS Debian.

What size drive ? Minimum is at least 30G.

35GB drive

What does syslog have in it or the virtual console log? As per that error those logs files should contain information.

To access logs during installation, you can try sending CTRL+ALT+F2 or CTRL+ALT+F4 (then to get back to the installer, CTRL+ALT+F1).

Also you might consider 40G disk as some VM environments seem to need a little more space recently e.g. Proxmox.

I resized the VHDX in HyperV from 35GB to 50GB and the install appears to be moving forward.
