Hi all! I have FreePBX set up at a local company here and there is an overhead paging system that they would like integrated. So far (with how I’ve got it set up), you can page the overhead system by dialing extension 48 on the hand set and you can page the phones by dialing extension 60 on the handset. The issue lies with this: I have extension 48 added to the extension 60 page group, but it doesn’t even try to call 48 when I use 60 (per the logs). PBX goes through and rings every extension in the page group EXCEPT 48…
The overhead paging is integrated by tapping off of the PBX with a twisted pair straight to the “input” of the overhead pager. I think the issue lies with how it does the dialing for the extension, like the PBX sees the 48 extension (overhead) as being busy or something… any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!
