Ttsengines in 2.11.0.11

Hi Everyone,

I’m trying to install the Text to Speech module, and I receive an error telling me I need the module ttsengines

Text To Speech cannot be installed:
Module ttsengines is required.

This module ttsengines doesn’t seem to be available via the admin web page, is this something installed on the commandline?

Any advice appreciated - where is ttsengines?

I have flite and festival installed just to see if that helped, and there doesn’t seem to be a ttsengines in yum

TIA

E

At this time is it an unreleased commercial module.

In module admin click the Commercial tab at the top. The TTS Engine module is still a commercial module but it is free. I think its being moved out from commercial into core soon but we have 1 or 2 small things that have to change before we do that.

I have updated to the latest FreePBX Distro version, as well as have all the latest modules installed. Except however, TTS.

On the Status page, it reports:
The following modules are disabled because they need to be upgraded:
tts

However, any attempt to update the module results in the following error still:
Text To Speech cannot be upgraded:
Module ttsengines is required.
Please try again after the dependencies have been installed.

Am I missing something…
Or is FreePBX simply reporting to me a module requires updating, that can not be updated?

Thanks for your assistance on this.

Go update your TTS Engine module. Its in the Commercial Repo at this time.

Thanks Tony

Thank you very much sir. It helped me as well.
