Trunk issues?

I have been trying to get FreePBX to work for me on my PC. I have installed distro FreePBX 14.0.1rc1.7. I am able to make calls from extension to extension but calls to did get “The number you have dialed is not in service” out going calls get the message "All circuits are busy, please try your call again later. Below are the log files taken after attempting an outgoing call. If you can help me figure out what I am doing wrong this time, thanks.

Is your outbound route set like this on purpose?

No it’s not. Thank you. I unchecked that option.

Does it work now? or you still have this issue?

Yes I still have the issue. I also tried switching off emergency just to see.

It looks to me like you either don’t have any outbound routes set up, ir you don’t have the correct dial patterns set for your outbound routes.

I used the wizard to set up patterns, I selected 7 and 10 digit patterns, plus US Toll Free, US Emergency, and Long Distance to set up the outbound route.

Can you show us a screenshot of your dial patterns?

Most US providers require 11 digits to place calls, so you are missing 1NXXNXXXXXX

Also, you don’t repented a 1 by NXXNXXXXXX, and not 1AREACODE by NXXXXXX

Below is a common my dial pattrens

Ok, I deleted dial patterns and tried the ones you listed. I have no change in recorded messages when attempting outgoing or incoming calls.

Either your screen shots are incomplete or you have not assigned any trunks for your outbound route

I have also tried this configuration;

type=friend
secret=password
username=myusername
qualify=no
host=sip.providerdomain.com
dtmfmode=rfc2833
context=from-trunk
canreinvite=no
allow=ulaw
insecure=port,invite
fromdomain=sip.providerdomain.com

What SIP provider are you using?

I have the issue resolved. I had overlooked redirecting my service to the new machines ip address.
I am having fail2ban issues. Should I start a new thread?
