I know how to transfer an answered call to voicemail. I want to be able to selectively (with a button press), send a ringing inbound call to voicemail without answering the call first.
If your phone has context buttons and presents a “reject” button on its display, you should be able to press that button to send the call directly to VM, as long as VM is enabled for the extension.
Sangoma D and P series phones present this feature on inbound calls.
should’ve thought about that…
however, in this particular case, this extension is set to ring other extensions also. it seems I have to push reject on the other extensions also.
