Transcribe Voicemail Messages With Azure

I’ve been using @billsimon script (https://github.com/simontelephonics/transcribe-with-azure)
for almost six months to transcribe voicemails without any problem but recently, I’ve noticed an intermittent issue where some voicemails are getting transcribed, but others are not. Here are the details:

  • Voicemails are arriving with the attached WAV files as expected.
  • Emails indicate “Transcription: No transcription available” for some messages.
  • Azure Metrics show some client errors, but no other errors are present on the platform.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue or have any suggestions on what might be causing this inconsistency? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I haven’t seen this problem. The script is very simple; it should do the job unless you are having connectivity problems from your PBX to Azure. What are the “client errors” Azure is logging?

I am not sure exactly how to list the errors. The only thing I was able to see is this:
