Does the system have any way of sending a tone to the receiving individual of a transferred call, or does the GS phone. Granted the sending phone is a gxp2140 and the receiving is a 1615. Receiving individual doesn’t know when transferred caller is waiting for them to start dialogue.
You would think the receiving person would say something to let caller know they have been transferred, but sounds like that’s not always the case.
this has long been a bugaboo of lots of people on here. if you do an attended transfer neither party on the call knows if the transfer has been completed.
