Now that Sangoma has purchased Digium, what is the plan for Digium phones?
Will they keep making phones under the Digium brand or slowly phase them out?
I used to work for Digium, and I performed product management for endpoints. I now work for the combined Sangoma, and I still do product management for endpoints - both s-Series and d-Series. The d-Series phones are excellent phones for Switchvox, and we’re going to continue making them. Having more than one line of telephone isn’t unusual for a manufacturer. Some manufacturers have three or more, we have two. In our case, as with others, there are different user bases and market segments that each line targets. We need both.
