I’m at the end of my wits with this distro. I never had the issues with PIAF that I have with FPBX. If I skip oob because it is a relentless piece of crap, but then try to register sysadmin later, oob comes back to break the admin portal. I’ve found that if I remove code from module.xml, I can get back into the admin page, but follow me is still blank.
If you press no to OOBE and later decide to register it launches OOBE register to let you register. Once you register it should not launch again.
What do you mean you get locked out of the GUI. WE have over 100 people a day register with no issues. SOmething seems broke here with your setup.
Uh oh. They’re cloud based servers setup by vitelity. I’ve got like 16 more of them :\
the /admin page is completely blank I can see oobe flash across the screen for a quarter of a second, then nothing but white screen.
This really sounds like something with the server itself. With sysadmin you need to make sure all the needed RPMs are installed. If you are using a Vitelity Server then that is not a FreePBX Distro 100% as they modify it to run on OpenVZ and they need to make network changes on your request to support licensed products.
I see. I was able to get into follow me, though, before trying to activate the server. I reinstalled follow me and was able to get into it, so I ran the dbug. As soon as I press submit, that screen goes blank again:

It seems like you’re trying to use commercial modules on a machine that won’t run commercial modules. Sorry. That’s why OOBE is failing.
It should be more gracious about failing, I agree. What’s in your browser debug console?
