Suspicious call from someone selling phones on behalf of FreePBX

I received a voicemail today from someone who identified themselves as “Bruce Smith from FreePBX” and said that to support the FreePBX project (“keep the doors open”) he is selling physical VOIP phones, and requested I call him back. While I know Sangoma sells hardware, the solicitation felt off in several ways (the caller ID wasn’t the callback number Bruce left and neither show up in any search results as related to Sangoma or FreePBX, thanking me for being a “repeat FreePBX customer”, super informal tone, etc).

I thought I’d note it here in case others receive a similar message.
