Stream meetme conference to ICECAST server?

Hi

My first post on here

I have a server with FreePBX (‘PBX in a flash’ based on CentOS) and I want to do the following:

Stream the live audio of a Meetme conference to an Icecast server (running on the same box) so that external people can listen in to the conference over the internet. Most google results point to streaming MOH (music on hold) from an Icecast or shoutcast server, but that’s not what I want to do.

The closest I have found on the web to any useful instructions is here: http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+cmd+Ices

But I am struggling to follow it and it doesn’t really get me to where I want to be.

Just wondering if anyone has done this before and can point me to a good guide.

Thanks

Mark

My passing thought is use chan_alsa.

Thanks for that. Perhaps I forgot to mention a key point. The server is on a virtual platform in the cloud so I don’t have access to any physical audio ports!
