Are the source RPMS available? I need to test a patch from digium on an install. I would like to compile via the source rpms where everything is the same, but the additional patch that I included. That way it will not cause any issues when updating the system in the future.

The sources can be downloaded from asterisk.org. We do not publish source RPM’s as we pull the sources right from asterisk.org.
