Some extensions, selection of one of two trunks

Hi, I have some extentions, (say 201, 202, 203 and 301, 302, 303).
I want to do the following:
Calls from 201, 202, 203 should be routed to trunk1 and calls from 301, 302, 303 to trunk2.
Of course, this could be done

  • with two diffents prefix digits
  • with some extra lines of code.
    Is it possible to use the standard FreePBX configuration menue to solve this problem?

This is feature which in MHO should have been available a long time ago.
The concept which is standard for an analog PBX is simple, each phone extension has a COS eg. Executive, Staff or Public
"Executive" has all calling areas available (including international), “Staff” has limitel long distance and local available and “Public” only have access to local calls. Is there any chance of seeing this in a release anytime soon?
