I doubt your provider accepts all of those CODEC’s and you probably don’t have a g.729 license on your Asterisk system so if they choose that CODEC you would decline the call.

But that’s not happening, they are declining the call.

The carrier won’t help you?

Guys, I know English is not your first language but advice is a noun, advise is a verb, so it would be “please advise” or “any more advice”

Here is some advice:

You log says:
SIP/pfingo-00000006 is circuit-busy
[2013-02-21 15:13:36] VERBOSE[5390] app_dial.c: == Everyone is busy/congested at this time (1:0/1/0)
So you sent your carrier the number: 63536682 they refused the call. Either they did not like the number, the CODEC, or some AAA parameter. Your carrier needs to tell you why they refused the call. We have know way of knowing.

Thank you for your comment
I do have dahdi lines, its all working fine. Right now i am trying to isolate to sip. so that that trunk is working fine.
I checked with pfingo. they said the format is correct.
please advice

You were right the format was wrong.It should be 006563536682. This works when I call using a desktop pfingo application. But though PBX not working :(.
I am allowing all the codec in my SIP setting , can’t really figure out the specific reason
allowed codecs g726,Ipc10,adpcm,speex,g722,siren7,g726aal2,siren14,g723,slin,alaw,gsm,g729,ilbc,ulaw.

Thanks in advance

open port 5060 on your firwall

Hi Thanks for the comment.
I have done a port forwarding on my router 5060 to server 5060.
There is no issue in registering SIP. That means if i enter wrong password for SIP , I can see in log retires. If correct then no logs. Hopefully registered successfully.
But i am still getting the same logs as above when i call out.
please help.

Don’t you need to put your password in the SIP secret?

I am triying to use only ulaw and alaw codec instaed of all.
please see sip show show peer trunkname
http://pastie.org/6419070
and now I am getting this error
[2013-03-08 16:22:56] VERBOSE[9260] app_dial.c: – Called SIP/trunk_4/006590875342

Apparently pfingo doesn’t like you calling 63536682:-

[2013-02-21 15:13:04] VERBOSE[5390] app_dial.c: – Called SIP/pfingo/63536682

Check your outbound routes and trunk for how to format to what they accept or call tech support at pfingo, with that clip and ask why they ended that call with a call clearing code of 0 which is not informative.normal

p.s.
63536682
none of your dahdi lines are working either, do you have any?

I did specified the password in the trunk setting, there is no issue in registering.

You are right, I missed that. Well something isn’t matching with your provider

Sometimes SIP providers reject calls when you send a Caller ID not in your DID list from them.

You might look there.

I forgot to mention, that some SIP providers will let you send any outbound caller id if you call them, ask them, jump through their qualifying hoops so they are certain you arent a spammer :slight_smile:

Thank you petersonz,
when I enable debugging, this is what I am getting while I call out.I am not sure how to read this,

My trunk registered with my SIP with no errors.
But not sure why call can’t go out.

Just figured out, Problem was NAT, once I enabled NAT and added fromuser=username
fromdomain=sip.pfingo.com
nat=yes
into the sip setting, call works fine.

Thanks for all the support
cheers!!!
