SOLVED: SangomaOS PBX Internet traffic (TCP) port 8000

Any thoughts as to WHY a SangomaOS PBX (on its own):

would need to SEND-OUT TCP port 8000 traffic to another Internet host (over 60000 times)?

It is almost non-stop traffic OUT from the PBX.
