When I ssh in i see this all over the place

Any ideas?

This message means that some application (most likely, FreePBX) is periodically connecting to and disconnecting from Asterisk via AMI. It is just an informational message which is displayed when a certain level of verbosity is set.

after upgrading to 14 from distro 13 I’m seeing this message fill up my log each message just seconds apart…

Yes. As previously mentioned it’s freepbx and this is normal.
