[SOLVED]Incoming calls are not working, outgoing are working

Hey, just have a question… had anybody the same error or anything similar to my issue?

I’m using the FreePBX Distribution with CentOS and a AVM Fritcard 2.1 with chan_capi drivers.
All modules are succesfully loaded to asterisk.
I can do outgoing calls without any problem! Quality of calls are very good.

Only incoming calls are not working.
The incoming calls are registerd from asterisk, i think only the transport to the SIP phone is not working, but i cannot find the reason for.

Just to be sure, inbound route is available and set up to forward all incoming (all blank) calls to extension 50.

sry, forgot to mension… we are using a ISDN connection with 2 channels.

below my capi.conf, all uncommented stuff blanked out.

[general]
nationalprefix=0
internationalprefix=00
rxgain=0.8
txgain=0.8
language=de

; interface sections …

[ISDN1]

isdnmode=msn
incomingmsn=*
controller=1
group=1
softdtmf=0
relaxdtmf=off
faxdetect=off
faxdetecttime=0
faxdestination=custom-fax,fax,1
accountcode=
context=isdn-in
echocancel=no
echocancelold=yes
devices=2

Thx again…

Problem Solved,

Issue was the context setting in capi.conf.
I entered isdn-in… therefore was no dialplan created, switched into “ext-local” and it runs perfect!

Hi - could you give me some advice how to install the CAPI drivers ?
Thanks
Kai

I’m using the AVM Fritz Card 2.0, hope this will work for you too.

First you need to install FCPCI Drivers
i took mine from here:
http://packages.atrpms.net/dist/el5/fcpci

then capi4k
ftp://ftp.in-berlin.de/pub/capi4linux/capi4k-utils-2005-07-18.tar.gz
tar -xvzf capi4k-utils-2005-07-18.tar.gz
cd capi4k-utils
make config
make
make install

Thats it… so my CAPI drivers were installed

Hi!

Whats with the chan_capi ???
Do I need it???

Tried to download the source and compile but bad luck.
First error i solved with download of asterisk18-devel package
then 10000 errors :slight_smile:

Maybe someone can help me

regards

Now you have to install chan_capi.
This packet is responsible for connecting asterisk to CAPI.
After the install of chan_capi, the etc/asterisk/capi.conf will be created.
