Is there a possibility to set a phone ringer to silent through EPM (basefile edit?) Or through the phone GUI?
It the phone has a web interface, you could probably do it that way. From the phone, you can likely turn the ringer all the way down or get into the phone GUI and turn it off/down. You could also set the EPM to use a “ring tone” that’s empty, but that would require a phone reboot.
