Hello all ,
@dicko the file has been edited as documented " for the digital card, the link you sent to me " however the cards still loosing configuration each time the system is power off or reboot, you advised me to disable the “dahdi helper” module in Module Admin but i do not a find such module,as the issue is persist could please point me under what module i can find the “dahdi helper” module or it could be set up by typing on command ???
Look forward to your reply ,
Thanks !
It is conveniently under “module admin” in the “connectivity” section.
Take a look now !
Thanks !
Hey @dicko , this is my steps >> Log into the FreePBX GUI, under Admin Tab >> Module Admin a new page is open with the title " Module Administration " but i can’t find connectivity to disable the " dahdi helper " module. Correct me if i am wrong .
Thanks !
What IS under the “connectivity” section? if the DAHDI module is not there then that is not your problem, recheck your work.
Yes the DAHDI module is there, how i can disable the “dahdi helper” or DAHDI module ?
To be honest !
Well, I find selecting it and choosing to “remove” it works for me
Sounds great !!!
So now i understand i will have to remove the DAHDI MODULE in Module Admin ,if yes !
How i will be able to use for future need ?
Look forward to your reply,
Thanks !
You won’t need it , it failed you so far, no? If anything changes, then edit the files the old fashioned way.
Alright, so i will do an overview before i remove this module since i will no longer use it once it done, but i hope it will not affect both inbound and outbound routes .
Thank you very much !
Hi,
@dicko, i have to tell you i did disable the “DAHDI CONFIG” once in module admin, but it was not fix the problem, i start to wonder if remove this module going to produce same thing
Let me know your thought.
Thanks !
How exactly do you make it work on a reboot?
I am sorry, do not understand your question,
Anyway i explain :
After the DAHDI CONFIG module has been disable in Module Admin, i reboot the system from CLI then i noticed that on reload cards loose config again .
Thanks !
Then I recommend that you follow one of the methods described in the link I gave ( I suggest the modprobe one).
Hi @dicko i do have configured the PRI card that way >>
in /etc/modprobe.d/dahdi.conf:
1- vi /etc/modprobe.d/dahdi.conf
2- options wcte13xp default_linemode=e1
then the last line to check if the card shows 31 chan : dahdi_cfg -v. Ok.
Thnaks !
