Setting up trunk

hello you all,

i am new with the whole VOIP thing but i’m a fast leaner :).

i have some issues setting up a trunk in freePBX

i used the trunk for many months with X-lite but i can’t seem to get it working on asterisk

the settings for X-lite are:

userID: +3256727391A2
Domain: ims.belgacom.be
password: XXXXXXXXXXX
Display name: BGC
Autorization name: MATCOM_3256727391

currently my outgoing settings are:

username=+3256727391A2
type=peer
secret=XXXXXXXXXX
host=ims.belgacom.be
dtmfmode=inband
fromuser=+3256727391A2
fromdomain=ims.belgacom.be
context=from-trunk
authuser=MATCOM_3256727391
allow=all

and the registry string is: +3256727391A2:[email protected]/+3256727391A2

i’ve tried everrything in the registration string but i keep ketting this error:

i don’t know what else i can try.

did you tried removing plus (+) prefix from the registry string and trunk settings in xlite? try changing your registry string to following along with xlite settings and see if it works.
