Setting up the ports general question

when setting up the endpoint port number ie 5060, does each extension need ot have its own? i use a cisco phone that will support 3 of the many extensions so should those three use 3 different ones or how should i set those up. should they all use 5060 etc. any help would be appreciated.

Don’t overthink it. You generally never have to change the port.

If you have five browser sessions open does each use a different port? Of course not. SIP messages work just like HTTP
